note

Please note that if there are any examples on setting up equipment in the articles of this section, they are one of the possible configuration suggestions.

Integration types

JeraSoft Billing supports various integration types, catering to different use cases and requirements:

  • xDR (CDR) files – this integration involves fetching xDR (Call/Data/Any Detail Record) files and parsing them. Primarily designed for post-paid accounting purposes.

  • RADIUS – the RADIUS integration serves multiple purposes in real-time, including Accounting, Authorization, and External Routing. This versatile integration enhances control and responsiveness, making it a valuable choice for dynamic service management.

  • SIP - specifically designed for External Routing and Authorization, the SIP integration provides a way to manage and control the routing of calls and other services.

  • CoreAPI – JeraSoft Billing API for custom integrations when building your own applications.

Please note that not all equipment supports all integration types. It is advisable to check with the vendor of the equipment to determine which options are available and compatible with your setup.

Billing configuration

Regardless of the integration type, it's crucial to explore the Billing configuration section, which provides essential information for configuring the billing platform itself, offering universal insights applicable to any external equipment integration.

Custom integration options

If your specific equipment isn't on our list, explore these options:

  1. JeraSoft Billing Common integration – this option facilitates quick integration with new equipment – it is defined and managed by JeraSoft team and is applicable for equipment that allows format tuning (columns and order in xDR files, field names in RADIUS packets, etc.).

  2. Custom integration request – if your equipment supports writing xDR (CDR) files or communicates via RADIUS or SIP, there's a 99.9% chance it can be integrated – contact our support for more details.
