JeraSoft Development presents a new major version VCS 3.14.0 with the latest improvements of currently existing features. Below, you can find a complete list of changes.

Major updates

Events log 

Starting from this version, VCS comes with an updated Events Log functionality and modified Configurations tab. 

• Events Log toolbar has the possibility to search and filter by tags. Now, you can sort output messages/alerts/errors by respective labels. 
• Events Log contains an extended logging information of Email Rates Manager events. (4395)

• Configuration tab has a new "Watch Rule" form to create rules with the next modifications:
  

1) filters by services, tags, types and regular expressions. Use POSIX standart while specifying regular expressions in the "RegExp Match" field.  

2) "Group Limit" option that allows to set after how many events under same rule they should be sent as a single aggregated message instead of separate e-mails per each log message. 

3) "Details Limit" option to set amount of characters to cut details to in case of grouped message.

Minor updates

1. Invoices: new column "Tax" added to an exported *csv file.
2. Rate Tables: limit in interval setting: allowed value between 1 and 2 000 000. (6973)
   Field "Min Volume" must be filled with a valid number value between 0 and 2147483647- Min Volume-Grace Volume-Interval
3. Balance Report: new icon  for service charges. (7219)

4. General VCS directories structure has been modified for this version: (7679)

• • Client Portal configurations: /opt/jerasoft/vcs-x.x.x/portal-backend/config where x.x.x - the number of the VCS version, for example: /opt/jerasoft/vcs-3.13.4

  • Files from the subdirectory "vcs/tmp" were moved to /opt/jerasoft/vcs-data/tmp. 

1. Packages: 
   - new possible to add packages for the terminator. Moreover, these packages could be used when the terminator has a negative tariff. (7499)
   - the max length for Packages name is 128 characters. (6792)
   - added option "Create charge on" with different time frames: (7448)
   • at pre-activation time (create charge at the moment of period creation)
   • at period start time (create charge at the moment of new period start) 
2. LCR Lists: when you export the report and tick the "Show Vendors" checkbox, vendors' names will be displayed in the exported file (*xls/*csv)(7483)
   
3. Events Log: 
   - it will display an extended data for Email Rates Manager events. (4395)
   - new possibility for customers to filter messages (that will be sent to the e-mail) by the key values. ( RegExp Match)

4. Settings:  "Default invoice fields" and "XDR fields for invoices" fields were removed from the Invoice Settings sub-panel. (7182)

5. Routing Plans: the "Parent Routing Plan" parameter was renamed to "Additional Routing Plan". 

6. Rate Tables: now you can add a rate with an asterisk ( * ) as code (7710).
